Prolouge

Before I begin, I'd just like to mention that this is not meant in any way as a rip off of TWBB. I had this idea way before I began watching that series. So, here it goes.

Told from the point of view of Mario.

It had been nearly 5 years since the release of Super Smash Brothers on the N64. The game had been an enormous success, with nearly every gamer wanting to own it, just to see who truly was better: Mario or Link? DK or Samus? Even Pikachu or Yoshi? The game was really begging for a sequel. That's when the trouble began.

Nintendo wanted to introduce new characters, which everyone knew was a logical decison. But they then told us that Dr. Mario was to appear. Well, that made no sense. How could Dr. Mario and I exist in the same game, much less the same battleground? It became even worse when Nintendo forced Link and Zelda to allow their son into the fight, dubbing him "Young Link". The poor boy was subjected to a brutal match with that bastard Bowser. During the match, he was burned badly by Bowser's flames, and had his nose smashed in by the impact of Bowser's Spinning attack. Link stopped the match after 5 minutes, knowing his son was hurt badly. His son died a few days later from a combination of blood loss and 3rd degree burns.

Nintendo announced the introduction of Pichu, which made Pikachu furious. He demanded to be allowed more moves, and more One Hit KOs. They announced Ganondorf, who was trained by Captain Falcon; The man I've come to know as my only friend left, Game and Watch; Falco, from the Starfox fleet; Princesses Peach and Zelda; Marth and Roy, of Fire Emblem; and finally Mewtwo.

Fans were unhappy with the way Pikachu was too "Pika-cheap", how JigglyPuff was useless, how Pichu was a carbon copy of Pikachu, and how Mewtwo was just weird. This caused the first round of cold-hearted firings. Next to go were G&W, Link's son, and Link himself. Eventually, thay fired us all, in an attempt to bring in "fresh ideas". They made a huge mistake. Soon, they released the Wii, which was panned by gamers. Nintendo fell, leaving nothing but nostalgia remaining. I think this is a good place to begin...Why don't we?
